My Makeup Super Hero: Blot Film!

23 Jul

The Summer is a great month for beach, bright blue eyeshadow, flip flops, surfing, bronzer galore and “makeup mudslide“! My face is not overly oily …but… in the summer my oil glands seem to get loose and wild and have a party…at my skin’s and makeup’s expense.  click here to read more

MAC in the Groove: Love to Love Neutral look

22 Jul

fell in love with the softness of this neutral palette.  The three colours were soo different but so fitting for one another.  The contrast between the lightest and the darkest colour got my little makeup look ideas spinning – I knew I had to have it!  I love putting two highly contrasting colours together in order to create a bold look. to continue reading on how to do look and to see more pictures click here!!

Partylicious Eyes: Makeup Look

I fell in love with the MAC APartylicious Pigment from the Alice + Olivia Collection that was launched by MAC earlier this month.  I have had it on my vanity for a week now- daring myself to wear it out to work or for a weekens lunch.  I knew I wanted to do something wearable for the day- but what? What could I do that was suitable for the day without blending out the amazing teal colour to an absolute sheer wash (what a waste!) OPI Nail Polish: Jewel of India

17 Jul

I have been taking a break from the “new and now” nail polishes – and I have decided to pick up some of my favorites from seasons past.  I find all the new teals, purples, greens and browns fun but not timeless or date worthy.  Out of all the “trendy” colours this year I am very much into the purples, so i decided to search my nail polish stash for a everyday, date worthy, work friendly purple click here to continue reading
